The sun is our ultimate source of energy, warmth, and renewal—just as it rises each day, we too , can harness its vitality to awaken our bodies and minds. Solar Flow is a day yoga retreat designed to honour the light within and around us, using movement, breath, and meditation to cultivate energy, balance, and renewal.

Through dynamic sun-inspired flows, grounding yin postures, energising face yoga, mindful breathwork and a beautiful, warming meditation, we will connect with the sun’s radiance, embracing its power to uplift and restore. Join us as we move, breathe, and bask in the energy of light, leaving you feeling revitalised and deeply nourished.

What to Expect

You can arrive any time from 9.45am to get yourself ready, have a cup of tea and walk around our lovely forest or field before we sit down on our mats in the studio, or outside for 10am. Mats and props are provided. If the weather permits, we may even do parts of the retreat outside, so fingers crossed we have a lovely sun to salute on the day. This retreat is limited to 7 people.

We’ll start the morning with a grounding meditation before doing a 60-minute Hatha Strength & Flow Sun-inspired sequence followed by an energising Face Yoga sequence before taking a 45-minute break.

During the break, a homemade salad, healthy juices, herbal teas, fresh fruit and healthy snacks will be served, and everyone will have the chance to ask questions, go for a walk in our forest or field or just enjoy the sun in the lovely garden.

After lunch, we will sit down to do some breathwork practises. Counscious breathing can help lower anxiety and stress, improve your immune system, lower blood pressure and heart rate, increase physical energy and increase feelings of calm and well-being.

This will be followed by a 70-minute Yin Yoga sequence. Yin yoga is known to improve emotional balance, improve circulation, increase overall flexibility and enhance the range of motion of your joints and ligaments.

We will then close this mini-retreat with a calming 20-minute guided meditation.

Who is it for?

This retreat is aimed at all abilities. You can be completely new to yoga, or you can be a seasoned yogi. The sequences are slow-paced, and modifications are available to suit all bodies.

If you are looking for some me-time to feel stronger yet calmer, if you are looking to increase your flexibility or your strength through yoga, or if you are looking to de-stress or simply try face yoga or yin yoga if you have not tried that before, then this retreat is for you.

What is the cost?

The cost for the retreat is £65 and includes all classes, props, a selection of herbal teas, fresh lunch, fresh fruit and healthy snacks. Once payment is made, your booking is confirmed. Please note that there are limited spaces, and space cannot be guaranteed until payment is made.

Is there free parking?

Yes, you can park on-site or nearby. All free.

Do I need to bring anything?

Mats and props will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you wish to do so.

A water bottle is always good to bring, and you can bring a soft blanket for Savasana, meditation or for relaxing should you wish to do so.

Comfortable shoes if you want to go for a wander during break time.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation any time up until 14 days before the event. A full refund will be provided.

Cancellations within 14 days of the event will not be refunded unless the place can be re-sold to someone else before the day of the event.
